Cancer Full Moon 2020

Depending on your location, the last full moon of 2020 occurs on December 29th or December 30th at 8°53' in the sign of Cancer.

Full moons represent culminations and with the Moon in Cancer, our feelings are highlighted by the Sun, exactly opposite in the sign of Capricorn.

Capricorn builds cosmically for the collective and suggests engineering for the whole. Cancer, on the other hand, builds locally, for the self, and suggests the caretaker on a domestic front.

Both the Sun and Moon make pleasing aspects to Uranus (trine and sextile respectively), which suggest an invitation to invigorate our emotions, and revolutionize how we feel about things.

Venus conjunct the South Node can indicate connections with the past. With Neptune still squaring (dynamic tension) the nodes (and effectively Venus), this can spell an illusion or disillusion with the past, or a chance to re-dream these connections.

This possibility is further highlighted by Capricorn Mercury's sextile to Pisces Neptune; the sextile suggests an invitation to make a leap in our practical (Capricorn) way of thinking (Mercury) to be inspired (Pisces) by dreams or visions (Neptune).

Where can you be inspired to make a change in how you feel about something in your life, and see the leap from the past way of thinking/feeling to a different, perhaps visionary way of thinking and feeling?
